Section 103(a) of the Indian Tribal Justice Act ( 25 U.S.C. 3613(a) ) is amended— by striking the subsection designation and heading and all that follows through Pursuant to and inserting the following: Pursuant to ; and by adding at the end the following: The Secretary shall enter into contracts, grants, or agreements with Indian tribes under paragraph
(1)without regard to whether the Indian tribe is located in a State listed in section 1162(a) of title 18, United States Code, or section 1360(a) of title 28, United States Code. . Section 201 of the Indian Tribal Justice Act ( 25 U.S.C. 3621 ) is amended— in each of subsections (a), (c), and (d), by striking 2011 through 2015 each place it appears and inserting 2022 through 2026 ; and by striking subsection
(b)and inserting the following: There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out section 103, and there are appropriated, out of any monies in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated— $83,000,000 for fiscal year 2023; $140,000,000 for fiscal year 2024; $200,000,000 for fiscal year 2025; $259,000,000 for fiscal year 2026; and $318,000,000 for fiscal year 2027. The amount made available under paragraph
(1)for each of fiscal years 2024 through 2027 shall be adjusted annually to reflect the change in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. .
