The Animal Health Protection Act is amended by inserting after section 10409A ( 7 U.S.C. 8308a ) the following: Any use of a beta-agonist drug, including ractopamine, zilpaterol, and lubabegron, in an animal in the absence of disease, including use for growth promotion or feed efficiency, is prohibited. .
