Section 403(b) of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act ( 16 U.S.C. 1881b(b) ) is amended— in paragraph (3), by striking and after the semicolon; by redesignating paragraph
(4)as paragraph (5); and by inserting after paragraph
(3)the following: ensure that each observer has received training to identify indicators of forced labor (as defined in section 361 of the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2022 ) and human trafficking (as defined in section 361 of the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2022 ) and refer this information to appropriate authorities; and .
