Not later than three years after the date of the enactment of this Act and not less frequently than once every three years thereafter until the date that is 12 years after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report reviewing the progress of the Department of Veterans Affairs toward meeting the goals, metrics, and other plans of the Department under this Act, including under sections 101, 102, and 202. Each report required by subsection
(a)may include the following: A review of the performance of the Department related to planning, oversight, management of human capital, contracting, and execution of capital asset projects. A review of how the Department is complying with the requirements of this Act. Such other topics as the Comptroller General considers appropriate.
