Section 219(f)(272) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1992 (106 Stat. 4835; 113 Stat. 334; 121 Stat. 1268) is amended— by striking $20,000,000 for water and wastewater and inserting the following: $20,000,000 for water and wastewater ; and by adding at the end the following: Notwithstanding subsection (a), at the request of a non-Federal interest for a project or a separable element of a project that receives assistance under this paragraph, the Secretary may adopt a model agreement developed in accordance with section 571(e) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1999 (113 Stat. 371). .
