Section 201 of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 ( 29 U.S.C. 431 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: In this subsection, the term covered labor organization means a labor organization whose total annual receipts equal or exceed $250,000. Each covered labor organization shall file an annual report containing the information described in paragraph
(3)for each trust in which a labor organization is interested if the labor organization (alone or in combination with other labor organizations)— has, at any time during or prior to the reporting period, selected or appointed the majority of the governing board of the trust in office at any time during the reporting period; or contributes more than 50 percent of the receipts of the trust during the reporting period. A report required under paragraph
(2)shall contain information pertaining to the financial operations of the labor organization and the trust, including any transactions or major receipts or disbursements by the trust during the reporting period. .
