There are authorized to be appropriated— $1,000,000 for the Museum to carry out the activities described in section 5(a) and to establish the administrative capabilities necessary to administer grants under section 5; and $30,000,000 to award grants under section 5. The Director of the Museum is authorized to solicit, accept, hold, administer, invest, and use donated funds and gifts, bequests, and devises of property, both real and personal, to support the initiative under this Act.
