231(e) list Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the President shall impose the sanctions described in section 351 with respect to not fewer than 5 entities— on the list of persons determined under section 231(e) of the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act ( 22 U.S.C. 9525(e) ) to be part of, or to operate for or on behalf of, the defense or intelligence sectors of the Government of the Russian Federation; and not designated before such date of enactment for inclusion in the list of specially designated nationals and blocked persons maintained by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the Department of the Treasury.
