Section 661(a) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 ( 22 U.S.C. 2421(a) ) is amended— by striking the subsection designation and heading and all that follows through The Trade in the first sentence, and inserting the following: The Trade ; in the second sentence of paragraph
(1)(as so designated), by striking The purpose and inserting the following: The purpose ; and in paragraph
(2)(as so designated), by striking such as energy, transportation, telecommunications, and environment. and inserting the following: such as— energy; transportation; telecommunications; the environment; and creative industries and occupations (as defined in section 102 of the Promoting Local Arts and Creative Economy Workforce Act of 2022 ). .
