Title II of S. 2604 (117th Congress), as reported by the Senate Committee on Appropriations on August 4, 2021, is amended by inserting at the end of the Administrative Provisions the following: Of the unobligated balances available to the Department of Veterans Affairs from amounts appropriated in title II of division J of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 ( Public Law 116–260 ), that became available on October 1, 2021, the following funds are hereby rescinded from the following accounts in the amounts specified:
Veterans Health Administration, Medical Services , $2,341,736,000; Veterans Health Administration, Medical Community Care , $1,636,265,000; Veterans Health Administration, Medical Support and Compliance , $203,926,000; and Veterans Health Administration, Medical Facilities , $151,415,000: , That no amounts may be rescinded from amounts that were designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to a concurrent resolution on the budget or the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985.
