Title 10, United States Code, is amended— in the section headings, by striking each place it appears and inserting Air National Guard ; Air and Space National Guard in the tables of sections, by striking Air National Guard each place it appears and inserting Air and Space National Guard ; and in the text, by striking Air National Guard each place it appears and inserting Air and Space National Guard . Title 32, United States Code, is amended by striking Air National Guard each place it appears and inserting Air and Space National Guard .
Title 37, United States Code, is amended by striking Air National Guard each place it appears and inserting Air and Space National Guard . Title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking Air National Guard each place it appears and inserting Air and Space National Guard . Title 5, United States Code, is amended— in section 2108(1)(B), by striking Air National Guard and inserting Air and Space National Guard ; and in section 5518(2), by striking Air National Guard and inserting Air and Space National Guard .
Section 1716(g)(2) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking Air National Guard and inserting Air and Space National Guard . Section 631(c) of title 28, United States Code, is amended by striking Air National Guard and inserting Air and Space National Guard . Section 20203 of title 36, United States Code, is amended by striking Air National Guard each place it appears and inserting Air and Space National Guard . Section 3309(b)(3)(C) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by striking Air National Guard and inserting Air and Space National Guard .
Section 233(i)(2)(B) of the Trade Act of 1974 ( 19 U.S.C. 2293(i)(2)(B) ) is amended by striking Air National Guard and inserting Air and Space National Guard . Any reference in law, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the Air National Guard or the Air National Guard of the United States shall be deemed to be a reference to the Air and Space National Guard or the Air and Space National Guard of the United States, respectively. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report that includes— a plan to implement the organizational changes necessary to carry out the amendments made by subsections
(a)through (f); and a description of any technical and conforming amendments to provisions of law necessary to fully implement those changes.
