Section 602 of the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965 ( 42 U.S.C. 3212 ) shall apply to a construction project that receives financial assistance from the Corporation. For purposes of applying such section 602 to such a project, any reference in such section 602— to a project assisted by the Secretary of Commerce under such Act shall be deemed to be reference to a project that receives financial assistance from the Corporation; and to the Secretary of Commerce shall be deemed to be a reference to the Corporation.
