Sec. 309. Director of National Intelligence support for intelligence community diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility activities

Title XI of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 3231 et. seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following: In this section, the term covered workforce activities includes— activities relating to the recruitment or retention of personnel in the workforce of the intelligence community; and activities relating to the workforce of the intelligence community and diversity, equity, inclusion, or accessibility. Notwithstanding any other provision of law and subject to the availability of appropriations made available to the Director of National Intelligence for covered workforce activities, the Director may, with or without reimbursement, support such covered workforce activities of the various elements of the intelligence community as the Director determines will benefit the intelligence community as a whole. .
The table of contents at the beginning of such Act is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 1110 the following: Sec. 1111. Support for intelligence community diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility activities. .
