Sec. 18. Reports to Congress regarding ammunition purchases by Federal agencies

Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, shall report to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the President pro tempore of the Senate, and the Chairmen and Ranking Members of the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations and the Committees on the Judiciary, the House Committee on Homeland Security, the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, a report including— details of all purchases of ammunition by each Federal agency; a summary of all purchases, solicitations, and expenditures on ammunition by each Federal agency; a summary of all the rounds of ammunition expended by each Federal agency and a current listing of stockpiled ammunition for each Federal agency; and an estimate of future ammunition needs and purchases for each Federal agency for the next fiscal year.
