Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 ( 20 U.S.C. 1681 et seq. ) is amended— by redesignating section 909 as section 907A and moving that section 907A so as to follow section 907; and by adding at the end the following: In this title: The term covered institution of higher education means an entity described in section 908(2)(A). The term covered school system means an entity described in section 908(2)(B). The term title IX coordinator means the individual who coordinates the efforts of a covered school system to comply with, and carry out the system’s responsibilities under, this title. .
