Section 274D of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1324d ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Subsection
(a)shall not apply to an alien who is a VAWA self-petitioner, as defined in section 101(a)(51), or who has filed an application for nonimmigrant status under subparagraph
(T)or
(U)of section 101(a)(15) or a petition for Special Immigrant Juvenile status under section 101(a)(27)(J). .
