There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out this Act for each of fiscal years 2023 through 2028. Of the amounts appropriated under subsection
(a)for each fiscal year— 33.5 percent shall be available to award grants to eligible entities that are— part B institutions; and Historically Black Graduate Professional Schools; 39 percent shall be available to award grants to eligible entities that are Hispanic-serving institutions; 10 percent shall be available to award grants to eligible entities that are Tribal Colleges or Universities; 6 percent shall be available to award grants to eligible entities that are Predominantly Black Institutions; 9 percent shall be available to award grants to eligible entities that are Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-serving institutions; and 2.5 percent shall be available to award grants to eligible entities that are— Native American-serving nontribal institutions; and Alaska Native-serving institutions or Native Hawaiian-serving institutions.
