Chapter 287 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section: With respect to the acquisition of food for military working dogs by the Defense Logistics Agency, the Director of the Defense Logistic Agency shall give a preference for the acquisition of food that is manufactured or produced— in the United States; by an entity that is based in the United States; and using only ingredients and materials that were grown, mined, manufactured, or produced in the United States. .
The table of chapters for chapter 287 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new item: 3906. Preference for domestic food for military working dogs. .
