Section 731(a)(2)(A) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 ( Public Law 117–81 ) is amended to read as follows: The Comptroller General shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the House of Representatives and the Senate— a briefing on preliminary observations regarding the analyses used to support any reduction or realignment of military medical manning, including any reduction or realignment of medical billets of the military departments, not later than December 27, 2022; and a report on such analyses not later than May 31, 2023. .
