Sec. 571. Clarification and expansion of authorization of support for chaplain-led programs for members of the Armed Forces

Section 1789 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a)— by striking chaplain-led programs and inserting a chaplain-led program ; by striking members of the armed forces and all that follows through status and their immediate family members, and inserting a covered individual ; and by inserting , or to support the resiliency, suicide prevention, or holistic wellness of such covered individual after structure ; in subsection (b)— by striking members of the armed forces and their family members and inserting a covered individual ; by striking programs and inserting a program ; and by striking retreats and conferences and inserting a retreat or conference ; and by striking subsection
(c)and inserting the following: In this section, the term covered individual means— a member of the armed forces on active duty; a member of the reserve components in an active status; or a dependent of an individual described in subparagraph
(A)or (B). .
