Section 345 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 ( Public Law 117–81 ; 135 Stat. 1645; 10 U.S.C. 2715 note) is amended— in subsection (a)— in paragraph (1), by inserting or lead after (commonly referred to as ; and PFAS ) in paragraph (2), by inserting or lead after substances ; and in subsections (b), (d), and (e), by inserting or lead after polyfluoroalkyl substances each place such term appears.
