Sec. 113. Flood easement database

Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall establish and maintain a database containing an inventory of— all floodplain and flowage easements held by the Corps of Engineers; and other federally held floodplain and flowage easements with respect to which other Federal agencies submit information to the Secretary. The Secretary shall include in the database established under subsection (a)— with respect to each floodplain and flowage easement included in the database— the location of the land subject to the easement (including geographic information system information); a brief description of such land, including the acreage and ecosystem type covered by the easement; the Federal agency that holds the easement; any conditions of the easement, including— the amount of flooding, timing of flooding, or area of flooding covered by the easement; any conservation requirements; and any restoration requirements; the date on which the easement was acquired; and whether the easement is permanent or temporary, and if the easement is temporary, the date on which the easement expires; and any other information that the Secretary determines appropriate.
The Secretary shall make the full database established under subsection
(a)available to the public in searchable form, including on the internet. The Secretary shall request information from other Federal agencies to incorporate other federally held floodplain and flowage easements into the database established under subsection (a).
