Section 1684 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 ( Public Law 117–81 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking 2022 and 2023 and inserting 2022 through 2024 ; and in subsection (b), by striking September 30, 2023 and inserting September 30, 2024 .
