Section 184(k) of title 10, United States Code is amended— by striking and inserting Report. —The Chair ; and Reports. —(1) The Chair by adding at the end the following new paragraph: Not later than March 31, 2023, and not later than December 31 of each year thereafter, the Deputy Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report containing— a summary of the goals and priorities of the Deputy Secretary for the year following the date of the submission of the report with respect to the activities of the Council; and an assessment by the Deputy Secretary of the activities of the Council carried out during the year preceding the date of such submission. .
