The Secretary, in consultation with the heads of other Federal agencies, as appropriate, shall develop and carry out with partner governments and civil society— multi-year international environmental cooperation agreements and projects; and multi-year capacity-building projects for implementing measures to address illegal, unreported, or unregulated fishing, fraud, forced labor, bycatch, and other conservation measures. Section 3543(d) of the Maritime SAFE Act ( 16 U.S.C. 8013(d) ) is amended— in the matter preceding paragraph
(1)by striking as appropriate, ; and in paragraph
(3)by striking as appropriate and inserting for all priority regions identified by the Working Group . Section 3553 of the Maritime SAFE Act ( 16 U.S.C. 8033 ) is amended— in paragraph
(7)by striking and after the semicolon; in paragraph
(8)by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: the status of work with global enforcement partners. .
