Not later than 12 months after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Health and Human Services shall— complete a study on the rates of suicidal behaviors among children and adolescents with chronic illnesses, including substance use disorders, autoimmune disorders, and heritable blood disorders; and submit a report to the Congress on the results of such study, including recommendations for early intervention services for such children and adolescents at risk of suicide, the dissemination of best practices to support the emotional and mental health needs of youth, and strategies to lower the rates of suicidal behaviors in children and adolescents described in paragraph
(1)to reduce any demographic disparities in such rates.
