Section 103(a)(11) of the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973 ( 42 U.S.C. 4953(a)(11) ) is amended— by inserting and underserved after in rural ; and by inserting , including initiatives relating to identifying and applying for appropriate Federal grants for such areas after most . (9)the following: providing training and technical assistance for participants in the national service programs to identify and apply for appropriate grants for entities in rural areas and underserved communities; .
