In this Act: The term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on the Judiciary, and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives; and the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on the Judiciary, and the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate. The term atrocities has the meaning given that term in section 6(2) of the Elie Wiesel Genocide and Atrocities Prevention Act of 2018 ( Public Law 115–441 ; 22 U.S.C. 2656 note). The term war crime has the meaning given that term in section 2441(c) of title 18, United States Code.
