Sec. 2. Authorization of appropriations to retain and create education jobs

There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary to establish and implement an Education Jobs Fund— $56,600,000,000 for fiscal year 2021; $52,400,000,000 for fiscal year 2022; $34,300,000,000 for fiscal year 2023; $26,100,000,000 for fiscal year 2024; $17,700,000,000 for fiscal year 2025; $14,400,000,000 for fiscal year 2026; $14,600,000,000 for fiscal year 2027; $14,800,000,000 for fiscal year 2028; $15,000,000,000 for fiscal year 2029; and $15,200,000,000 for fiscal year 2030.
Of the amounts made available for a fiscal year under subsection (a), the Secretary may reserve not more than $1,000,000 for each such fiscal year for administration and oversight of this Act. From the amounts first made available under subsection (a), not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall award grants in accordance with section 3. Not later than 30 days after the first day of the first fiscal year that begins after the date of the enactment of this Act and annually thereafter, from the amounts made available under subsection (a), the Secretary shall award grants in accordance with section 3.
