The Secretary of State, in coordination with the Administrator for the US Agency for International Development, shall to the extent practicable, expand testing capacity, vaccination distribution, and acquisition of needed medical supplies, including available COVID–19 vaccines and supporting vaccination efforts, to— ensure continued success in preventing the spread of the COVID–19 pandemic, achieve swift and widespread vaccinations, pursuing long-term economic recovery globally, and demonstrate American commitment to global engagement and diplomatic support.
