Section 7 of the Coastal Barrier Resources Act ( 16 U.S.C. 3506 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— by striking the Coastal Barrier Improvement Act of 1990 and inserting ; and Ocean-Based Climate Solutions Act of 2022 by striking promulgate regulations and inserting revise or promulgate regulations and guidance, as necessary, ; and by amending subsection
(b)to read as follows: The head of each Federal agency affected by this Act shall annually report to the Secretary that such agency is in compliance with this Act. The Secretary shall annually certify whether each such agency is in compliance with this Act. If the Secretary certifies that an agency is not in compliance with this Act, the head of the agency shall report to Congress not later than 90 days after the date of such certification regarding how the agency will achieve compliance. . Section 3(2) of the Coastal Barrier Resources Act ( 16 U.S.C. 3502(2) ) is amended by striking Committee on Resources and inserting Committee on Natural Resources .
