Section 3(1) of the Coastal Barrier Resources Act ( 16 U.S.C. 3502(1) ) is amended— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking means and inserting includes ; in subparagraph (A)— in the matter preceding clause (i), by inserting bluff, after barrier spit, ; and in clause (ii), by inserting and related lands after aquatic habitats ; in subparagraph (B), by inserting , including areas that are and will be vulnerable to coastal hazards, such as flooding, storm surge, wind, erosion, and sea level rise after nearshore waters ; and in the matter following subparagraph (B), by striking , and man’s activities on such features and within such habitats,
