Title II of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act ( 33 U.S.C. 1281 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following: The Administrator shall award grants to owners of publicly owned treatment works to be used for the implementation of a pretreatment standard or effluent limitation developed pursuant to this Act for the introduction into a treatment works, or the discharge of, any pollutant that is a perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substance or any pollutant identified by the Administrator as a contaminant of emerging concern. There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $200,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2026. .
