Section 3(4) of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 ( 52 U.S.C. 20502(4) ) is amended by striking States and the District of Columbia and inserting States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the United States Virgin Islands, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands . Section 901 of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 ( 52 U.S.C. 21141 ) is amended by striking and the United States Virgin Islands and inserting the United States Virgin Islands, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands .
Such Act is further amended as follows: The second sentence of section 213(a)(2) ( 52 U.S.C. 20943(a)(2) ) is amended by striking and American Samoa and inserting American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands . Section 252(c)(2) ( 52 U.S.C. 21002(c)(2) ) is amended by striking or the United States Virgin Islands and inserting the United States Virgin Islands, or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands . Section 90102(c) of title 36, United States Code, is amended by striking and the United States Virgin Islands and inserting the United States Virgin Islands, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands .
