Sec. 403. Report on technology transfer gaps

Not later than 3 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall— seek to enter into an agreement with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine to study existing programmatic gaps in the commercial application of technologies among National Laboratories under programs supported by the Department; and submit to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology of the House of Representatives a report on the findings of the study under paragraph (1).
