The President shall work with the Government of Canada to establish a formal United States-Canada-European Union Working Group to develop a comprehensive strategy to respond to the technology challenges posed by Chinese efforts and influence in the communications, infrastructure, surveillance equipment and cyber sectors. The United States participants in the working group established pursuant to subsection
(a)shall seek— to complete a joint analysis on the perils of overreliance on Chinese telecommunications equipment; and to share intelligence and screen Chinese investments in strategic technology and critical infrastructure.
