Of the unobligated balances available under the Economic Support Fund, identified by Treasury Appropriation Fund Symbol 72 X 1037, $34,013,000 are rescinded: , That no amounts may be rescinded from amounts that were designated by the Congress for Overseas Contingency Operations/Global War on Terrorism or as an emergency requirement pursuant to a concurrent resolution on the budget or the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended. Provided Of the unobligated balances from amounts available under the heading Embassy Security, Construction, and Maintenance in title II of the Security Assistance Appropriations Act, 2017 (division B of Public Law 114–254 ), $242,462,000 are rescinded: , That such funds that were previously designated by the Congress for Overseas Contingency Operations/Global War on Terrorism pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(ii) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 are designated by the Congress for Overseas Contingency Operations/Global War on Terrorism pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(ii) of such Act.
Provided Of the unobligated balances from amounts made available under title VIII in prior Acts making appropriations for the Department of State, foreign operations, and related programs under the heading Complex Crises Fund , $40,000,000 are rescinded: , That such funds that were previously designated by the Congress for Overseas Contingency Operations/Global War on Terrorism pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(ii) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 are designated by the Congress for Overseas Contingency Operations/Global War on Terrorism pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(ii) of such Act.
