Subchapter IV of chapter 169 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section: The Secretary of Defense shall require each landlord that provides housing under this subchapter at an installation of the Department of Defense to provide access to the maintenance work order system of such landlord with respect to such housing to the following: Personnel of the housing management office at such installation. Personnel of the installation and engineer command or center of the military department concerned.
Such other personnel of the Department of Defense as the Secretary determines necessary. . The table of sections at the beginning of such subchapter is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 2889 the following new item: 2890. Access to maintenance work order system. .
