Subsections (c)(2) and
(k)of section 33 of the Federal Fire Prevention and Control Act of 1974 ( 15 U.S.C. 2229 ) shall not apply to amounts appropriated for Federal Emergency Management Agency—Federal Assistance for Assistance to Firefighter Grants in this Act. Subsection
(k)of section 33 of the Federal Fire Prevention and Control Act of 1974 ( 15 U.S.C. 2229 ) shall not apply to amounts provided for Federal Emergency Management Agency—Federal Assistance for Assistance to Firefighter Grants in title III of division D of Public Law 116–93 and in title VI of division B of Public Law 116–136 . Amounts repurposed under this section that were previously designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement or as being for disaster relief pursuant to the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act are designated by the Congress as being for an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(i) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 or as being for disaster relief pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(D) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985.
