Section 302(e) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 ( 52 U.S.C. 30102(e) ) is amended— in paragraph (3)(A)— by striking clause (ii); in clause (i), by striking ; and and inserting a period; and by striking except that and all that follows through the candidate and inserting except that the candidate ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: A political committee may not engage in joint fundraising with other political committees or with unregistered committees or organizations. .
