Section 2208 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ( 6 U.S.C. 658 ) is amended— in subsection (c)— by striking section and inserting Act ; and by striking for 4 years . in paragraph (2)(B), by inserting and performance against those measures compared to the prior year after progress ; and in paragraph (4)— by redesignating paragraphs (A), (B), (C), (D), (E), and
(F)as paragraphs (B), (C), (D), (E), (F), and (G), respectively; and by inserting after paragraph
(4)the following new paragraph: the target number of qualified positions to be filled by occupation and grade and level or pay band; .
