Subtitle B of title IV of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ( 6 U.S.C. 211 et seq.), as amended by this title, is further amended by adding at the end the following new section: The Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection shall, in a risk based manner, continuously screen individuals issued any visa, and individuals who are nationals of a program country pursuant to section 217 of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1187 ), who are present, or are expected to arrive within 30 days, in the United States, against the appropriate criminal, national security, and terrorism databases maintained by the Federal Government. .
The table of contents in section 1(b) of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 420, as added by this title, the following new item: Sec. 420A. Continuous screening. .
