Title V of the National Security Act of 1947 ( 50 U.S.C. 3091 et seq.), is amended by inserting after section 503 the following new section: On a quarterly basis, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional intelligence committees and the congressional defense committees (as defined in section 101(a) of title 10, United States Code) a report on the cyber intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance activities of the Department of Defense, and any other matters the Secretary determines appropriate, that occurred during the quarter preceding the date of the submission of the report. .
The table of contents at the beginning of such Act is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 503 the following new item: Sec. 503A. Quarterly reports on cyber intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance activities of the Department of Defense. .
