The White Pine County Conservation, Recreation, and Development Act of 2006 ( Public Law 109–432 ; 120 Stat. 3028 et seq.) is amended by inserting after section 352 the following: Notwithstanding sections 202 and 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 ( 43 U.S.C. 1711 , 1712), not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this section or 60 days after the Secretary receives written notification under this section from a private landowner, the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Bureau of Land Management, shall issue corrective patents, subject to valid existing rights, for private lands adjacent to public land when— a cloud on the title demonstrates that the private land had been patented before 1976; and the correction is for 5 acres or less.
The United States shall pay administrative costs of corrective patents issued under this section. .
