In this subtitle, the following definitions apply: The terms Director and poverty line for a single individual have the meaning given such terms in section 421 of the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973 ( 42 U.S.C. 5061 ). The term COVID–19 national emergency means the national emergency declared by the President under the National Emergencies Act ( 50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.) on March 13, 2020, with respect to COVID–19. The term grantee means a recipient of a grant under the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973 ( 42 U.S.C. 4950 et seq.) or the National and Community Service Act of 1990 ( 42 U.S.C. 12501 et seq.) to run a program.
The term program means a program funded under the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973 ( 42 U.S.C. 4950 et seq.) or the National and Community Service Act of 1990 ( 42 U.S.C. 12501 et seq.). The term State Commission on National and Community Service has the meaning given such term in section 101 of the National and Community Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 12511 ).
