Subsection
(c)of section 103 ( 50 U.S.C. 1803 ) is amended— by striking Proceedings under this Act and inserting
(1)Proceedings under this Act ; by inserting , and shall be transcribed before the first period; by inserting , transcriptions of proceedings, after applications made ; and by adding at the end the following new sentence: Transcriptions of proceedings shall be stored in a file associated with the relevant application or order. . Such subsection, as amended by paragraph
(1)of this section, is further amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: The Attorney General and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court shall maintain all written substantive communications between the Department of Justice and the court, including the identity of the employees of the court to or from whom the communications were made, regarding an application or order made under this title in a file associated with the application or order. . Subsection (i)(2) of section 103 ( 50 U.S.C. 1803 ) is amended by striking subsection
(c)and inserting subsection (c)(1) .
