(3)of section 3(a) of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 ( 42 U.S.C. 4003(a)(3) ) is amended by inserting before the semicolon at the end the following: or for any Indian tribe that has in effect a plan for mitigating damage resulting from flooding that has been approved by the tribal government for the tribe .
