The Secretary of Education may not— take any action to implement, enforce, or otherwise give effect to the proposed amendments to regulations relating to the enforcement of title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, published on November 29, 2018, under the heading Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Education Programs or Activities Receiving Federal Financial Assistance (83 Fed. Reg. 61462); or propose or issue any rule or guidance that is similar in substance or effect to any of such proposed amendments.
