Sec. 302. Appropriations from the CARBON Trust Fund

Amounts in the CARBON Trust Fund for a fiscal year shall be available, as provided by appropriation Acts, as follows: Fifty percent of such amounts shall be available for State block grants to be used to offset higher energy costs for low-income households. Fifty percent of such amounts shall be available for climate adaptation, carbon sequestration, energy efficiency, and advanced R&D programs.
