Section 1644 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 ( Public Law 115–91 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by inserting , not later than December 31, 2022, and quadrennially thereafter, before conduct ; in subsection (b), by striking the review and inserting each review ; in subsection (c)— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking The review and inserting Each review ; by redesignating paragraph
(9)as paragraph (10); and by inserting after paragraph
(8)the following new paragraph: An assessment of the potential costs, benefits, and value, if any, of establishing a cyber force as a separate uniformed service. ; in subsection (d)— in paragraph (1), by striking the cyber and inserting each cyber ; in paragraph (2), by striking The report and inserting Each report ; and by striking paragraph (3); and in subsection (e), by striking period beginning on the date that is five years after the date of the enactment of this Act and ending on the date that is 10 years after such date of enactment and inserting each eight-year period that begins from the date of each review conducted under subsection
(a).
